For over one hundred and fifty years<\/strong>, the D’Ambra family<\/strong> has cultivated a deep passion for viticulture<\/strong> and the production of quality wines<\/strong>, combining innovation<\/strong>, creativity<\/strong> and a strong link with their roots<\/strong>. Since the end of the 19th century<\/strong>, with Francesco D’Ambra<\/strong> – known as Don Ciccio<\/strong> – Ischia wine production<\/strong> has become a vocation<\/strong>, bringing the island’s wines<\/strong> from Naples<\/strong> to national<\/strong> and international markets<\/strong>. The development of the company and the valorisation of the territory<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1952, the company entered a new phase thanks to Don Ciccio’s sons Mario, Michele and Salvatore, who founded D’Ambra Vini d’Ischia S.p.A.<\/strong>. Modern technologies<\/strong> for vinification<\/strong> and bottling<\/strong> were introduced, vineyards<\/strong> were acquired in the most suitable areas and a new winemaking plant<\/strong> was built in Panza<\/strong>, the nerve centre<\/strong> of Ischian viticulture<\/strong>. Autochthonous varieties<\/strong> such as Biancolella<\/strong>, Forastera<\/strong> and Per’ \u2019e palummo<\/strong> become the symbol<\/strong> of a project<\/strong> that enhances the territory<\/strong> and its excellence<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
